The BPCC, along with partners Déhora Polska, Kinnarps, Lux Med, PCS Paruch Chruściel Schiffter Stępień Kanclerz | Littler, held a practical conference on HR solutions for a new era, entitled When change is the only certain thing, the employee becomes the most important. The event, aimed at HR practitioners from firms across Lower Silesia, was held at the Wrocław Golf Club.

In today’s business world, where the pace of change is staggering and predictability is rare, the role of HR departments in ensuring employee well-being is significant. How can employers create a harmonious environment for developing people? At this conference, BPCC members presented new solutions that are already being put into practice.

Following the substantive part of the event, participants were invited to a short golf lesson under the guidance of experienced instructors.

After an introduction and welcome from the BPCC’s regional director, Ilona Chodorowska, Karolina Kanclerz and Marcin Sanetra from law firm PCS Paruch Chruściel Schiffter Stępień Kanclerz | Littler addressed the most common challenges in implementing new regulations regarding work-life balance and predictable working conditions after the first month of changes being in force.

Maria Lorenc, HR development manager and workplace expert from Kinnarps looked at ergonomics in the workplace from a holistic perspective, after which Marek Soleck, head of Lux Med’s Health Education Office presented some of the latest medical solutions aimed at creating a healthier workplace.

Following a networking coffee break, the issue of flexible work-time planning was discussed by Dr Paweł Mlicki, senior consultant and mediator from Déhora Polska, who then moderated a panel discussion and Q&A. Lunch, networking and outdoor relaxation followed with the possibility of half an hour’s golf instruction with Oskar Zaborowski, professional golfer and two times junior Polish champion.
