Dentons has advised Globalworth on obtaining €145 million in financing from a German bank. The financing will be used for the repayment of the group’s financial obligations and concerns the Skylight and Lumen office complex in the center of Warsaw as well as the Hala Koszyki multifunctional facility with the first food hall in the capital.

The Skylight and Lumen buildings, part of the Globalworth portfolio since 2018, are among the best-known office buildings in Warsaw, located in the immediate vicinity of the Złote Tarasy shopping gallery. Hala Koszyki, designed in the Art Nouveau style and erected over 100 years ago as a market hall, has been partially restored and reopened in 2016 as a modern multifunctional facility. All properties covered by the financing are BREEAM certified with a rating of „Excellent”.

Globalworth is the leading real estate company and the largest office investor in Central and Eastern Europe, with a focus on Poland and Romania. The firm is listed on the AIM segment of the London Stock Exchange.

Piotr Nerwiński (partner) supervised the transaction, which involved negotiating and executing the finance documents, with support from Patrycja Polasz (counsel) and Aleksandra Grześkowiak (associate) from the Banking and Finance team in Warsaw.
