Michal is BP’s Poland Head of Country and a member of the BP Communications & External Affairs Europe leadership team. He is responsible for integration and coherence of all BP activities in Poland, relations with key stakeholders and cooperation with both state and local government authorities and non-governmental organisations. He also manages corporate affairs, communications, social performance and regulatory advocacy for bp in Poland, Nordics and Baltics.
Michał joined the Polish operations of BP in April 2018. Prior to joining BP, Michał held several positions in corporate affairs, public policy and legal, including Liberty Global CEE operations, Clifford Chance, Dentons and the European Commission. Michał graduated in law and holds a master’s degree in law from the Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznań. He also holds a postgraduate degree in European Advanced Studies from the College of Europe. He is a legal advisor admitted to practice in the EU.
Outside of his professional duties, he takes a keen interest in travelling, foreign languages, and intercultural exploration.

Dariusz Kucharski is currently the Country CEO of HSBC Poland. In this role, he leads wholesale banking business that provides investment and financial solutions to corporate, government and institutional clients. Dariusz has been with HSBC Poland since 2005 and has held a number of senior roles in risk management and internal audit.
Prior to joining HSBC, Dariusz worked in a range of treasury, audit and risk management roles at ING, Arthur Andersen and Raiffeisen Bank.
Dariusz holds a degree in Finance from University of Economics in Krakow and the qualification of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

He is currently CSR manager and a President of Castorama Foundation. In his roles he is responsible also for managing communities and eco projects conducted in a company.

Andrzej Pośniak is a lawyer, economist, and manager. Since 2019, he has been the managing partner of CMS in Poland. Under his leadership, the firm has significantly strengthened its market position and, in 2024, became the largest law firm in Poland, according to the “Rzeczpospolita” ranking.
He also oversees the Tax Advisory team within the Corporate/M&A practice and
is responsible for the development of this practice across Central and Eastern Europe.
With a management degree from Harvard Law School, Andrzej effectively combines strategic expertise with operational leadership. He continuously strengthens relationships with key clients and business partners, and as a member of CMS’s global Tax Practice Board, he plays an active role in shaping its international strategy.

Mateusz Krupczyński is an expert in corporate relations and public policy with over a decade of experience gained at the intersection of business, public administration and international affairs. He currently serves as Head of Corporate Relations at Diageo in Poland, where he is responsible for public affairs strategy, regulatory dialogue, and cooperation with industry organisations and key institutional stakeholders.
Previously, he led public policy programmes for the Central and Eastern Europe region at Meta, engaging in dialogue with governments and regulators on digital and technology policy. He gained experience in public administration as an adviser at the Ministry of Economy and at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, preparing analyses and recommendations for senior government officials. He also headed the Transatlantic Programme at the Kulski Foundation, developing expert cooperation in the field of Euro-Atlantic relations.
A graduate of Keele University and the University of Dundee in the United Kingdom, he brings a strong British-Polish and international perspective. His experience includes building bridges between business and public administration, and supporting a stable and predictable regulatory environment conducive to investment and the development of economic cooperation between Poland and the United Kingdom.

Sandra Piotrowska is Head of Public Affairs at InPost Group, responsible for shaping the company’s public affairs strategy, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory advocacy across Poland and the EU.
Before assuming her current role, Sandra held senior positions in international business development, foreign direct investment, and trade promotion. Most recently, she served as Deputy Director of Inward Investment Poland and Head of Strategic FDI Accounts for Central Europe at the British Embassy Warsaw, supporting the largest companies in expanding to the UK. Prior to that she worked at the Taiwan External Trade Development Council.
Sandra holds master’s degree in strategic management and public diplomacy, she is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She is actively involved in international business and policy networks, which demonstrates her extensive contacts and ability to build strategic relationships.

Adam is a senior financial services executive with 30 years of experience in insurance, asset management and banking markets both in Poland and internationally. He successfully developed and led several companies. In the last 15 years he worked for Aviva, recently as CEO of the Polish business. Before that he was responsible for sales and marketing for Aviva’s European and Asian regions. Prior to joining Aviva he was CEO of Nationwide’s European business based in Luxembourg. He held numerous board positions in financial services companies in Poland, UK, France, Ireland, Turkey and Luxembourg. He also has experience in consulting and investment banking.
Adam has a degree in economics from Copenhagen University. He is also a chartered accountant.

Professor Piotr Wilczek is a Polish scholar and diplomat. He served as Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the United Kingdom (2022–2025), and previously to the United States (2016–2021), with concurrent accreditation to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas (2017–2021).
Professor Wilczek has extensive experience in economic diplomacy, investment dialogue, and strategic infrastructure, including energy security and diversification. He supported numerous initiatives strengthening UK–Poland and US–Poland relations and was awarded the Amicus Oeconomiae prize by the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs for promoting Poland’s economic interests abroad.
Before entering diplomatic service, Professor Wilczek held leadership positions in higher education and research governance, including as Head of the Collegium Artes Liberales at the University of Warsaw and Dean of the Faculty of Modern Languages at the University of Silesia. He has conducted research and held visiting professorships at institutions such as the University of Oxford, the University of London, the University of Chicago, and Rice University.
