Botanica Jelitkowo is an intimate housing estate located in a seaside district of Gdańsk. This prestigious investment, developed by Invest Komfort, combines an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from the beach, with access to city attractions. The buildings with elegant architecture, integrated into the natural, green surroundings, use high-quality materials and construction technologies. In the underground car park of the estate, on an area of over 2,200 m2 Deckshield resin floors by Flowcrete, a leading expert in this technology, were applied.
The award-winning architectural design of Botanica Jelitkowo was created based on the idea of a garden city. The buildings were shaped in the rhythm of the flowing river, with carefully composed vegetation. High-quality materials and technologies were used in the construction of the estate. Examples of solutions that are in line with the sustainable development idea include Deckshield resin floors by Flowcrete, applied in the underground car park of this investment, on a total area of 2,200 m2.
Deckshield are durable floors based on solvent-free polyurethane resins and quartz sand, intended for the protection of concrete surfaces in parking lots and garages. These coatings have high mechanical resistance, including abrasion resistance to intensive vehicle traffic. They are also chemically resistant to substances contained in fuels and automotive fluids, including battery acid and the ingredients of de-icing salts transported onto the parking lot surface on tires.
Deckshield floors have a positive effect on the aesthetics of the parking lot, and at the same time increase its functionality and safety of users. Thanks to the content of quartz sand, they have anti-slip properties. They are available in various colours, which allows for clear marking of communication routes and parking spaces. The colour combination used in the parking lot of the Botanica Jelitkowo estate – the combination of a grey, glossy floor with white horizontal markings guarantees the best visibility from a driver’s position.
In addition, Deckshield floors are a solution with low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), confirmed by the Indoor Air Comfort® Gold certificate, which is important for the quality of indoor air in the building.

In addition to the Deckshield flooring system, Flowcoat SF41 resin coatings were also applied in the Botanica Jelitkowo estate in technical rooms of an area of approximately 600 m2.
