Serpol-Cosmetics, a leading manufacturer and supplier of personal hygiene products, skincare, and household chemicals, has expanded its factory in Mieścisko in recent years. In the new facility, on an area of 5,500 m2, the Peran STB epoxy-quartz flooring system was installed – an original technology created by Flowcrete, a leading expert in resin floors.

In the new facility, on an area of 5,500 m2, the Peran STB epoxy-quartz flooring system was installed – an original technology created by Flowcrete, a leading expert in resin floors.
In the production facility built by Serpol-Cosmetics in 2018, the industrial Peran STB epoxy-quartz floor in a light blue colour was applied.
The investor was looking for a durable floor that would meet the demanding conditions of use typical for the production of cosmetics and household chemicals. Due to the intense pedestrian traffic and the movement of forklifts and other vehicles transporting goods, it was necessary to use a system with high mechanical strength. When choosing a flooring solution, chemical resistance to substances used in the plant, ease of keeping clean, and anti-slip properties appropriate to the working conditions were also important.
The Peran STB flooring system applied in the Serpol-Comestics production facility in Mieścisko sets the highest market standard in the industry. This floor is made of clear epoxy resin and coloured quartz sand, with the use of mechanical troweling technology. The mixture of sand grains in various colours gives it an attractive appearance and high operational durability, including: against scratches, abrasion, and impacts, while the application technology allows one to adjust the anti-slip degree to the individual conditions and requirements.
„Seamless industrial resin floors are mechanically and chemically durable, and at the same time easy to keep clean. This feature is particularly important in our industry, where maintaining the highest level of hygiene is crucial. In the new production facility, we chose epoxy-quartz flooring in a light-reflecting colour. Thanks to this, the interior of the production facility gained a spacious and aesthetic appearance,” – said Wojciech Feldmann, Director of Infrastructure and Investments at Serpol-Cosmetics.
