On 4 May, the long-awaited draft amendment to the Companies & Partnerships Code was presented to the Sejm. One of the aims of the new provisions is to extend the principle of freedom of establishment in the EU internal market, which we have written about before.
Patrycja Wakuluk analyses the proposed changes, taking a closer look at individual provisions and suggesting how entities will be able to reorganise, merge, divide, split or transfer their shares abroad without neglecting the interests of minority members, employees and creditors.
