Taylor Wessing advised a FIZAN fund managed by Polski Fundusz Rozwoju S.A., acting as lender, on the sale of the Kleczew Solar & Wind farm by Lewandpol Holding to Energa Wytwarzanie, part of the Orlen Group.

Counsel Michał Kulig provided comprehensive legal advice on negotiating the terms and documentation for the repayment of the existing financing. Zbigniew Korba, Partner and Head of the Banking and Finance Team in Poland, provided strategic oversight of the project.

The current capacity of the Kleczew Solar & Wind farm is 244.5 MW. This includes a 225.3 MWp photovoltaic farm and a wind farm with an installed capacity of 19.2 MW. However, the project is being further developed and the construction of the next phase will expand the photovoltaic installation by a further 25.4 MWp.
