Over 120 companies, incredible energy, effective networking, and great fun! 🎯 The British Polish Chamber of Commerce co-organised the International Speed Business Mixer in Poznań – an event that once again proved how impactful fast-paced networking can be. A big thank you to all the participants and our partners – nine bilateral chambers, hundreds of conversations, and countless opportunities for collaboration. This event is a tried-and-tested way to build lasting business relationships in a dynamic, international setting. A special thank you goes to Akademeia High School, as well as Izabela Juchniewicz and Dr Katarzyna Borzym-Grzesik, for co-organising the event with us and contributing an insightful perspective to the panel discussion. Particularly impressimg was the information that students of Akademeia – teenagers! – developed a “life band” appliance to support emergency room doctors, as part of a science competition. No wonder three students from this school received the “Highest Mark in the World” award last year for achieving the top global results in British A-Level exams, granted by the Pearson Edexcel exam board to the world’s highest-performing candidates.
Established in 2016, Akademeia High School is an independent, academically selective school in Warsaw, offering IGCSEs and A Levels alongside Akademeia Assessed Courses. With a rigorous admissions process and A Level classes taught in the form of undergraduate seminars; the school pursues a pre-university university model. The majority of our students are preparing to study at Oxbridge, Russell group, and top universities across US and Europe. Our latest set of A Level results is comparable to the top 10 public schools in the UK, with 91% of A and A* grades. The school offers a robust scholarship programme, with 10% of places allocated to merit-based, partial and full scholarships. Together with Akademeia High School Foundation, the school also supports several educational outreach and community engagement initiatives.
