ACCA Opens Doors to International Careers for Finance Professionals at the Virtual Careers Fair Europe

To provide employers with the opportunity to find the best employees, and candidates with a selection of offers that match their preferences, ACCA is organizing the Virtual Careers Fair (VCF) for the 5th time, dedicated to finance professionals at all career levels. This all-day event will take place on October 24.

What sets this job search and recruitment method apart? During the event, candidates will have the opportunity to talk to representatives from over a 100 ACCA Approved Employers across Europe. Among the employers from Poland participating in the fair are: EY GDS, PwC SDC, Stryker, Fortum, Abbvie, Heineken, ADM, Infosys, Hempel, Swarovski, JP Morgan, BNP Paribas, Eltel, RSM, Pandora, UHY, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, PKF, BNY Mellon, and ASB. Both students and senior-level managers can register for the event, as there will be offers available for juniors as well as highly experienced specialists at the executive level. Candidates can register for the event, add a link to their LinkedIn profile, or upload their CV, and then quickly chat with recruiters from various organizations. Representatives of international companies, open to hiring employees from across Europe, will participate in the event.

“The opportunity to meet online with employers for whome we would like to work is a unique chance not only to find an attractive job offer but also to verify our competencies and assess the ‘value’ of our experience in the market. For experienced individuals planning their careers, it’s also a moment when they can ask representatives from their dream companies which skills they should develop to secure desired positions in a few years,” says Przemek Olszewski, Business Development Manager Poland, ACCA Northern & Eastern Europe.

The VCF is also a perfect  opportunity to explore financial sector job proposals for people who have worked in other industries but have transferable skills, such as strong English proficiency and analytical abilities. A highlight of the event will be workshops and webinars showing how to enhance effectively qualifications and how to prepare for recruitment. The event’s special guest will be Mario Nava, Director General for Employment, Social Affairs, and Inclusion (EMPL) at the European Commission, who will share his experience in identifying and addressing skills gaps and employment, as well as upskilling and working in an international environment.

Finally, it’s worth noting that the VCF EU 2023 edition was awarded in the category of Best Hiring Event 2023.

The event will be held online on October 24 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on the modern vFairs platform. It is free for both employers and participants, but registration is required on the website.
