Professor Wilczek is a distinguished scholar and diplomat, having served as Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the United States (2016–2021) and to the United Kingdom (2022–2025). Across both postings, he was actively engaged in strengthening transatlantic relations, with a particular focus on economic diplomacy, strategic cooperation, and security.

He has extensive experience in strategic infrastructure and energy security, and was awarded the Amicus Oeconomiae prize by the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs for promoting Poland’s economic interests abroad.

Before entering diplomatic service, he held senior leadership roles in higher education and has been affiliated with leading international institutions, including the University of Oxford and the University of Chicago. He is the author of numerous scholarly publications and a recognised contributor to international public debate.

We look forward to working with Professor Wilczek in further advancing UK–Poland business and institutional collaboration.
