The BPCC would like to inform you that the UK Government has now introduced Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) as a mandatory entry requirement. Previously launched as a pilot scheme, ETA is now compulsory for all eligible travellers.

From now on, Polish citizens travelling to the UK for tourism, business, or private purposes, who do not require a visa, must obtain an ETA before entry.

  • Cost: £16
  • Processing time: in most cases, approval is granted automatically within minutes (applications must be submitted via the official UK ETA app).
  • Validity: ETA allows multiple entries to the UK for up to 2 years or until the passport expires – whichever comes first.
  • Mandatory: without a valid ETA, travellers will not be permitted to enter the UK.

? Apply here via the official UK Government website: Apply for an electronic travel authorisation (ETA) – GOV.UK

We strongly encourage you to familiarise yourselves with this procedure and share the information with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
