We are pleased to announce that Marta Koremba and Rafal Dziedzic are Managing Partners in Bird & Bird’s Warsaw office from November 2024. In this role, they will be supported by the local Executive Committee, which currently comprises Izabela Kowalczuk-Pakuła and Piotr Dynowski.
Marta Koremba joined Bird & Bird in 2013 and has been a partner co-heading the Intellectual Property practice since 2017. From 2023, she has co-chaired the firm’s International Trademark Group. As a patent and trademark attorney, she handles international intellectual property disputes. She has unique experience in geographical indications. She advises clients from a wide range of sectors – from life-science and FMCG to the aviation and sports sectors. Clients value Marta for her efficiency, professionalism, enthusiasm and business acumen. Marta plays a key role in the development of the firm’s strategy. She is also committed to the integration of women in business. This year, she was selected as one of the elite 250 top women in IP.
Rafal Dziedzic joined Bird & Bird in 2014. He is a partner co-heading the Corporate and M&A practice. He advises on multi-million M&A transactions, joint-venture projects, investment agreements, acquisition of distressed companies, private equity transactions and corporate disputes. He supports clients in a wide range of sectors – energy, chemicals, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, mining, public services, real estate, steel and agriculture. Rafal is valued by clients for his effective relationship building, substantive knowledge, pragmatic approach, attention to detail and quality of service.
