The British – Polish Chamber of Commerce is looking to recruit a full-time Public Affairs Manager, based in Warsaw.

The successful candidate would work closely with government ministries, regulatory authorities and parliamentary groups to address British corporate investors expectations in front of regulatory requirements in the Polish market.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitoring and analysing legislative and regulatory developments in Poland
  • Providing guidance and support to BPCC members on regulatory issues in Poland
  • Coordinating the preparation and submission of consultative documents to public authorities on behalf of BPCC members
  • Leading Public Affairs Working Group consisting of BPCC members’ representatives
  • Representing the BPCC in meetings with public authorities and other international chambers of commerce in Poland and the EU, and negotiating with these parties on regulatory matters
  • Collaborating with the British Embassy in Poland as well as with other stakeholders
  • Participating in public affairs projects led by BPCC members

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree-educated, ideally in a law, business or international affairs subject, or related degree
  • At least B2 of English, Polish as native language
  • At least 3 years of experience in public policy, regulatory affairs or diplomacy
  • Strong interest in business and regulatory issues
  • Teamwork skills, including team management / project management
  • Ability to work under time pressure and responsibility for the result
  • Self-starter with target orientation and ability to absorb knowledge quickly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
