The Warsaw team of Taylor Wessing has been joined by Antoni Goraj as Counsel and Paweł Skura as Senior Associate. Katarzyna Sawicka has also joined the firm as Of Counsel.

The latest addition to the team follows a plan announced in December 2021 to strengthen the banking and finance practice and the growth of Taylor Wessing in Poland.

“I am delighted that new members are joining Taylor Wessing’s banking and finance team. The last few months have been a time of intensive work for us in terms of getting to know the new organisation and creating synergies between our banking and finance expertise and Taylor Wessing’s experience in serving the most innovative entities. I have noticed an incredibly positive response from clients to our joining Taylor Wessing. I am grateful to them for the trust they have placed in us in this exciting time. I have no doubt that the addition of Antoni, Paweł and Katarzyna will strengthen the firm’s offering and will be beneficial to our clients” said Zbigniew Korba, who heads Taylor Wessing’s Warsaw banking and finance team since January 2022.

“Zbigniew and his team have undertaken to actively support our ambitious growth plans in the Polish market. The addition of new team members fulfils our growth strategy and significantly strengthens the firm’s expertise in banking and finance. It also allows us to create synergies with other practices which we are gradually developing, as exemplified by the recent strengthening of our life sciences and dispute resolution practices” added Dr Ewelina Stobiecka, managing partner of Taylor Wessing in Poland.
