Events Where Science Meets the Patient: Rare Diseases Therapy Development.” Seminar with Dr Aldona Chmielewska

We are thrilled to invite BPCC members to Akademeia High School to hear from Dr Aldona Chmielewska, Clinical Researcher, Molecular Biologist, and President & Founder of AGO Alliance Poland.

The seminar, titled “Where Science Meets the Patient: Rare Diseases Therapy Development” will take place on Thursday, 19 February 2026, from 4:30 to 5:20 PM.

Drawing on both her scientific background and personal experience as a parent of a child with an ultra-rare disease, Dr Chmielewska coordinates international therapeutic development efforts and advocates for greater awareness and research.

During the seminar, Dr Chmielewska will explore how scientific research translates into real-world therapies, the challenges of developing treatments for rare diseases, and why collaboration between researchers, clinicians, and patient communities is essential to accelerating progress.

Please confirm your attendance by filling out this form.

We warmly encourage you to join this insightful seminar.
