Mediation in the construction sector – new obligations, new opportunities

British Polish Chamber of Commerce together with partner chambers and MCM invite you to a business breakfast dedicated to the growing role of mediation in resolving disputes within the construction sector and beyond.

Will mediation become the new standard for resolving business disputes? As of 1 March, courts are required to refer construction-related disputes to mediation – a significant regulatory change that may fundamentally reshape the way complex conflicts are handled in practice. For businesses, this could mean faster resolutions, lower costs and a more effective alternative to lengthy court proceedings.

During the meeting, experts and practitioners will discuss what the new regulations mean for the construction industry, when mediation can be an effective solution in commercial disputes, and how companies can use it as a practical business tool. The event will also create space for exchanging experiences and discussing real-life examples of mediation processes.

Although the discussion will focus on the construction sector, many of the conclusions and practical solutions presented during the event may prove equally relevant and valuable for representatives of other industries.
