Law Europe’s new digital architecture: AI, data, security and privacy

Europe is undergoing a digital transformation. The Data Act, the AI Act, the NIS2 Directive and the GDPR are paving the way for a transformation that will benefit companies with mature operational cultures, high-quality data and streamlined processes.

Europe is changing the rules of the game. The key question is: who can turn this to their advantage?

Those who already

  • Manage data
  • Design fair and transparent AI
  • Build operational resilience

will develop innovations faster than others.

Kochański & Partners invites you to a meeting during which Europe’s new digital architecture and its implications for business will be presented. The discussion will feature experienced in-house experts, market leaders, and digital transformation practitioners who will demonstrate how law and technology intersect in business decisions.

Agenda

  • NIS2: Cybersecurity and management board responsibility. Key managerial requirements, ICT outsourcing, incident reporting, in particular governance and sanctions
  • AI Act: Responsibilities and risks of AI systems. High-risk systems, compliance by design, the impact on GDPR, in particular classification, prohibitions, PII
  • Data Act: The new right to data and cloud services. Data sharing, the IoT, changes in cloud contracts and interoperability, particularly with regard to data management and contracts
  • GDPR 2.0: The intersection of the GDPR with the AI Act and the Data Act. The exercise of rights, automated decisions and data minimisation, with a focus on continuity, compliance and consistency

Moderator:

Natalia Kotłowska-Wochna

Panelists:

  • Urszula Góral, Privacy Policy Manager CEE, Meta
  • Paweł Czajkowski, Legal & Public Policy Director, Agora
