Directive on Pay Equality and Transparency: Changing the rules of the game
The British-Polish Chamber of Commerce, together with Linklaters, invites you to a webinar titled “Directive on Pay Equality and Transparency: Changing the rules of the game”.
Webinar Description:
The directive on pay equality and transparency is a significant step towards ensuring pay equality and eliminating the pay gap between women and men. The new regulations aim to oblige companies to be more transparent regarding pay matters and may require them to disclose information about pay structures and wage levels within the firm. Complying with the new regulations will not only be a legal obligation, but it will also protect the company from potential sanctions and financial penalties. Pay transparency can enhance the perception of the company as a fair and just employer, which is particularly important in the context of attracting and retaining talents. Pay transparency can also contribute to greater trust among employees, leading to increased engagement and motivation.
Preparing a company to meet the requirements of the directive will involve reviewing current pay policies, introducing appropriate systems for monitoring and reporting data, and educating management on the importance of pay equality. This will enable companies to effectively implement the new rules.
During the meeting, the following topics will be discussed:
- 5 things every employer should do right now.
- How much time is really left for preparation? What changes need to be made in companies by 2025 and why. Who will have to report the pay gap for the entire 2026 calendar year.
- Recruitment: what needs to be modified in recruitment processes.
- Salaries, bonuses, and awards – pitfalls of salary grades tables and criteria. The end of discretionary benefits?
- Goodbye to pay confidentiality. What candidates, employees, and employee representatives will be able to learn.
