Last month, Poland’s inward investment agency PAIiIZ published a report Foreign Business Has Taken Root in Poland. The report presents the results of an investment climate survey carried out in collaboration with Grant Thornton and HSBC Bank Polska. This was the basis for a meeting at which BPCC members and their guests discussed the factors that make foreign investors decide where to invest their capital. The discussion looked at Poland and the UK, and in Poland, specifically at Upper Silesia.

New members of the BPCC were invited to take part in the first of this year's BPCC Speed Business networking events, which took place on 19 January 2016.

This is the first event in the new location of BPCC Kraków - to start off the New Year smoothly, and to share with you the prospects for 2017, which marks the 25th anniversary of the British Polish Chamber of Commerce.

At the invitation of the Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie province, Adam Jarubas, the BPCC paid an official visit to Kielce on 20 October.

It has become a tradition that the BPCC joins forces with the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce to organise a joint New Year’s event in Krakow. 2016 was ushered in with a cocktail party held in the basement of the atmospheric Piano Rouge, in the city’s history market square.
