The UK section of the British Polish Chamber of Commerce headed by Michael Clay in London has announced a brand new development for fashion and creative industry - a working group gathering members and supporters of this multi billion pounds business in the UK. This is certainly a welcome response to a growing demand on both sides to bring the best of fashions and designs from Poland and the UK.

Finance minister and deputy premier Jacek Rostowski had to cancel his address to the BPCC breakfast at the last minute, having been called away to an urgent meeting with premier Donald Tusk. In his place came no fewer than three senior officials from the Ministry of Finance, ensuring that BPCC members received full value for money!

On 24 April 2013 BPCC members and invited guests met at at the newly-opened Warsaw Centre for Entrepreneurship, ul. Smolna 4 to learn about the benefits that employers can draw from employing people facing a difficult situation in the labour market. Tools supporting the employment of young people up to the age of 25, people aged 50+ and those with disabilities were presented, including funds available from public institutions and practical solutions offered by NGOs.

The Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone Invest-Park with the British Polish Chamber of Commerce organised a training session for local exporters entitled Doing Great Business with Great Britain. Develop your business and export to the UK.

  On 5 November 2015, over 70 businesswomen met in Warsaw for an afternoon seminar and networking reception entitled Men as Allies in Achieving Gender Balance in the Workplace.
