Savills appointed to manage Widok Towers

Real estate advisory firm Savills has been appointed as property manager for Widok Towers, the most centrally located skyscraper in Warsaw. The mandate follows many years of cooperation with German Commerz Real AG, the owner of the property, on Tulipan House and Millennium Park A.

Krakow reports the highest office take-up of all regional cities

In the first half of 2022, leasing activity in the Krakow office market reached 109,000 sq m, accounting for 70% of 2021’s total and representing a 44% increase year-on-year. Looking ahead, Krakow is expected to see gradual rental growth in the near future driven by rising construction costs and high inflation, says Savills.

Investment in commercial real estate in Poland grows by nearly 50%. Spendings in the first half (H1) of 2022 amounted to €2.88bn

€2.88bn were invested in commercial real estate in Poland in H12022, 44% more than in the previous year – as CBRE’s report shows. The largest transaction involved the sale of the Warsaw Hub to Google for almost €586mn. It is the largest single building purchase transaction in Poland’s history. Europe-wide, €152bn were invested in H1 2022, which is up 10% from the previous year. This exceeded the previous record in 2018 when investments amounted to €151bn.

Number of profitable Flexible offices in UK increases to 87% as sector continues to climb

In its latest Flexmark report, flexible office specialist Workthere confirms that 87% of UK operators are profitable, with 63% of providers reporting profit margins above 15%, which is 50% higher than the figure recorded in 2021.  The report, which surveyed flexible office providers across the globe to provide a benchmark of the sector, also reveals that the number of global operators reporting a profit increased from 82% to 89% yoy.

Bilfinger Tebodin supports Polfa in completing their highly potent pharmacological factory

In July 2022, Bilfinger Tebodin took part in the celebration of Polfa Tarchomin S.A. (TZF Polfa SA) first most important stage of construction of their new drug factory. The future oncological R&D center is designed for the development and production, among others of highly potent, oncological drug products in Warsaw, Poland. It is the largest-scale investment of TZF Polfa SA. in their almost 200 y.o. history. Bilfinger Tebodin supports Polfa with a professional EPCM service to make this project work.
