New anti-corruption regulations – risks and obligations

A BPCC  business breakfast about a new anti-corruption regulations and related risks and obligations was held at the Mercure Hotel in Wrocław on 30th January.

The event raised great interest among Polish and foreign companies who came to spend an informative forenoon to find out about the impact of the entry into force of the act on transparency of public life on medium and large companies, while enjoying coffee and nice breakfast.

During the meeting, Dr. Anna Partyka-Opiela and Mr. Jędrzej Stępniowski from the DZP law office shared, among other things, what the purpose of the law is, what anti-corruption obligations the new regulation introduces and how to protect an enterprise from financial penalties, as well as answered all questions bothering participants of the meeting.

We would like to remind you that the Act obliges all medium-sized and large enterprises - ie all entrepreneurs employing at least 50 people or carrying out more than EUR 10 million of turnover to introduce and apply effective internal anti-corruption procedures.
