Over 60 participants listened to the panel discussion of special guests, Jacek Jaśkowiak, mayor of the City of Poznań and Katarzyna Kierzek-Koperska, vice-president of the management board of the Wielkopolska Development Fund. They discussed the energy transformation of the city, challenges, expectations and actions taken to implement the plan to turn Poznań into smart city and a '15-minute city', in which citizens were only 15 minutes' walk or cycle away from urban amenities. The idea is described as 'a return to a local way of life.' The guests also discussed the problems caused by the increase in electricity and gas prices, which not only increases the city's expenses, but also slows down the replacement of inefficient and polluting boilers at the level of individual households. A major part of the discussion was devoted to smog reduction and air quality monitoring. After the official part, the guests continued networking and discussions.
