On 12 March 2026, a business breakfast organised by the British Polish Chamber of Commerce (BPCC) took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Wrocław, focusing on the practical aspects of expanding into the UK market. The event brought together approximately 40 representatives of companies, experts and entrepreneurs interested in sales, employee secondment and brand building in the United Kingdom.
The meeting was opened by Marcin Cichy, Managing Director of BPCC, who presented current data on Polish–British economic cooperation, as well as key areas in which Polish companies can develop their activities in the UK.
In the subsequent presentations, experts from Global24, SLT Media, SDZ Legal and BPCC outlined the most important challenges and solutions related to export, logistics, marketing, cultural differences and employment law in the UK. Participants were introduced to, among other things, five key steps to starting sales in the UK, the rules governing employee secondment after Brexit, the specifics of British business communication, and practical guidance on building brand credibility in that market.
The highlight of the event was a panel discussion entitled “UK in practice: what really needs to work to sell legally and effectively”, featuring Paweł Zakielarz (Global24), Katarzyna Gospodarowicz (SDZ Legal), Agnieszka Wiesenthal (Lingofy) and Paulina Patrykowska (SLT Media). The experts discussed the most common mistakes made by Polish companies, as well as legal and operational challenges, and the role of translation, business culture and marketing in successful expansion.
The event created a valuable space for exchanging experiences, asking questions and establishing new business relationships. BPCC has announced further initiatives aimed at supporting Polish companies in entering the UK market.
BPCC would like to thank all speakers, partners and participants for their active involvement and invites you to attend its upcoming events.
