Partner Adriana Mierzwa-Bronikowska has joined Dentons’ Warsaw office with a team of four lawyers, who will form a dedicated Projects team to advise clients across all stages of infrastructure projects. The Firm has also recruited five lawyers specializing in infrastructure and energy finance, including counsel Aleksander Haleniuk.

Adriana Mierzwa-Bronikowska has 20 years’ experience advising on projects in the transport, energy, water, waste management, and social infrastructure sectors. She and her team support clients in the construction of airports, seaports, roads, rail infrastructure, wind and photovoltaic farms, hydrogen facilities, hospitals, sports centers, and educational facilities. She has unique experience in PPP projects and has been involved in many of the most significant projects of this type in Poland. Adriana Mierzwa-Bronikowska is recommended in major international legal rankings, including Chambers Europe, The Legal 500 and IFLR1000.

Adriana Mierzwa-Bronikowska commented, “Providing comprehensive advice on infrastructure projects requires a multidisciplinary approach across several areas of law, such as corporate and tax, public procurement, real estate, environmental law, and finance, coupled with specialized industry knowledge. Dentons boasts robust, market-leading teams in all these fields and is consistently committed to its continuous growth.”

Aleksander Haleniuk is a counsel in the Banking and Finance practice, who advises financial institutions, borrowers and sponsors on Polish and cross-border infrastructure and energy finance transactions, including project finance and PPP structures, as well as corporate and real estate finance. Before joining Dentons, he worked, among others, at the European Investment Bank’s legal department focused on financing projects in the Baltic region.

“These new additions, alongside the earlier arrivals of partners Piotr Ciołkowski and Maciej Skoczyński, represent a strategic move to broaden and deepen our offering in those areas which are most critical for our clients. By bringing together capabilities in project development, financing, acquisitions, regulatory and litigation into a multidisciplinary Infrastructure group, we can offer clients exceptional sector knowledge across the full spectrum of infrastructure projects,” commented Jakub Celiński, Poland Co-managing Partner at Dentons.

“The addition of Adriana Mierzwa-Bronikowska and her highly regarded team, along with the recruitment of Aleksander Haleniuk and a group of lawyers experienced in infrastructure and energy finance, aligns with our insights into market trends and client needs,” said Jakub Celiński. “Infrastructure and energy are critical to the Polish and European economies, and the demand for legal services in these sectors will continue to grow.”
