As of September 1, 2024, partner Mark Segall has been appointed Co-head of Dentons’ Banking and Finance practice in Warsaw. He will lead the practice alongside fellow Co-head Bartosz Nojek to further develop the team’s capabilities, drive growth, and continue delivering innovative solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the Firm’s clients.
Mark Segall joined Dentons in March 2021, bringing with him a wealth of experience in providing top-quality English law advice on cross-border banking and finance deals in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region. He is a recognized lawyer with 25 years of expertise across a broad spectrum of banking and finance transactions – including corporate, leveraged and acquisition finance. He has also supported the energy transition through numerous sustainability-linked finance deals, as well as financing of renewable energy projects. He has been ranked repeatedly in international rankings including Chambers Global, Chambers Europe and IFLR 1000.
“I am honored to have Mark join me in leading our team”, said Bartosz Nojek. “I am confident that his extensive experience across numerous markets will be invaluable in shaping a strategy with vision and insight for our Banking and Finance Practice – one of the largest in Poland, with a strong focus on key industry sectors such as renewable energy, infrastructure, and real estate.”
“We are thrilled to have Mark take on this leadership role,” commented Anna Pukszto and Bartłomiej Kordeczka, Poland Co-Managing Partners. “His expertise will be instrumental in leading and further elevating our highly regarded Banking and Finance team, while also enhancing our service offerings in the sector.”
“I am very happy to take on this new challenge and work alongside Bartosz,” said Mark Segall. “I look forward to contributing to the continued success of the team and working closely with our clients to achieve their goals, particularly in navigating complex cross-border transactions.”
