International law firm CMS has topped the ranking of law firms by the leading Polish daily newspaper Rzeczpospolita in key categories in terms of the number of advocates and legal advisers, and the number of lawyers overall. CMS is one of only three law firms in Poland in history to top this ranking.

Andrzej Pośniak, managing partner of CMS Poland, said, “Today I can say with much pride and joy that at CMS, we have achieved great success. This important achievement confirms the strength, diversity and versatility of our team, which works on some of the most demanding, complex and innovative projects in the market. Our top rankings in this year’s Rzeczpospolita are all the more significant as we achieve them on the eve of CMS’s 30th anniversary in Poland. It is the result of our efforts and persistent work, for which I am extremely grateful to all of our colleagues and everyone who works with us.”

In this year’s rankings, CMS was awarded the title of leader in the Energy and natural resources, Real Estate and Construction Law categories. CMS was also recommended in the Commercial, Corporate and M&A, and Private Equity categories.

Individual distinctions were awarded to Sławomir Czerwiński as recommended lawyer in the Private Equity category, and Tomasz Koryzma as recommended lawyer in the TMT (IT, Media, & Telecommunications) category.
