Global law firm Clifford Chance advised Waterland Private Equity on the contemplated merger of two debt collection companies, BEST and Kredyt Inkaso. On 20 February 2025, both companies signed the merger plan which assumes the acquisition of Kredyt Inkaso by BEST via the merger. The majority of shares in Kredyt Inkaso are currently owned by Waterland (via its holding company WPEF VI Holding 5 B.V.) while BEST is a minority shareholder of Kredyt Inkaso. Both entities are listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
