Bird & Bird’s Warsaw office lawyers recently advised Energa Wytwarzanie S.A., a member of the ORLEN Group, on the acquisition of VRW 11 sp. z o.o. from Greenvolt Power Group sp. z o.o. VRW 11 sp. z o.o. owns the innovative Sompolno hybrid project, which includes a wind farm with a capacity of approx. 27 MW and a photovoltaic installation with a capacity of approx. 10 MW.

The transaction was supervised by Rafal Dziedzic (Partner, Corporate & M&A), who was supported by Mariya Borsuk (Senior Associate, Corporate & M&A) and Stanislaw Sodolski (Junior Associate, Corporate & M&A).

Sara Radzicka-Tolwaj (Senior Associate, Energy & Utilities), Wojciech Korga (Senior Associate, Energy & Utilities) and Justyna Świnka (Associate, Corporate & M&A) were responsible for administrative, regulatory and contractual aspects, including conducting legal due diligence on the company and the projects it is developing.
