From its initial market assessment to securing a long-term headquarters, Basler continues to expand its presence in Poland. As one of the global leaders in machine vision technologies, the company has signed a lease for 330 sq m of office space at Lubicz Park in Krakow, owned by Globalworth. Knight Frank supported the company throughout its multi-year journey, providing strategic advice on entering the Polish market, evaluating Krakow’s business potential, and ultimately selecting its new office location.
Founded in Germany in 1988, Basler AG is one of the world’s leading providers of machine vision technologies. The company develops solutions that enable machines to “see” and interpret images, ranging from advanced industrial cameras and software to complete systems for automation and quality control. Basler’s technologies support a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, electronics, and transportation. The company operates globally, continuously strengthening its technological capabilities through an international network of teams and locations.
The collaboration between Basler and Knight Frank began in 2021, when the German company was assessing the feasibility of establishing operations in Krakow. At that stage, Knight Frank’s role extended beyond real estate advisory. The consultancy supported Basler in understanding the local business environment by facilitating meetings with HR specialists, legal advisors, and organisations supporting foreign investors, enabling the company to make an informed investment decision.

As a result of these efforts, Basler opened its first serviced office in Krakow in 2022, enabling the company to launch recruitment activities and begin building its local team. Over the following years, Knight Frank continued to support Basler in making strategic decisions regarding the development of its Polish operations.
