Food Policy Group

Whatever the economy is doing, people need to eat! The agri-food sector is one of the most important when it comes to UK-Polish trade. The BPCC 's Food Policy Group brings together producers and retailers as well as all those who provide services such as marketing, certification and logistics to the agri-food sector. Combating food waste is another area of interest to the group, and one which has a bearing on corporate social responsibility. The group gets together with ministers, regulators and other government officials; representatives of Poland's food producers' and retailers' organisations are also involved in the group's meetings.
