Innovation and regulation of the food sector
The BPCC’s Food policy group met on 23 April at the British Embassy to discuss ‘functional foods’ – those products at the border of nutrition and medicine. This is a fast-growing segment of the food market, increasingly visible in shops. There are many issues surrounding this class of product, from potential for health risk, labelling and claim substantiation.
Food waste in Polish schools, 14th May 2014
The BPCC's Food and Corporate Social Responsibility policy groups held a joint meeting at the British Embassy on 14 May to consider food waste, focusing on the social initiatives that can be taken to promote broader awareness of the issue.
