The eight edition of Antal's report listing companies that Polish professionals and senior managers would like to work for the most is here. This year's study was carried out on a sample group of 4102 participants from 9 different disciplines – the biggest group yet. Each participant prepared a list of employers that, in their opinion, were able to best handle the current market conditions. Apart from the employer ranking, the report lists the factors that determine job-related decisions of employees working in strategic roles – the strengths of the most desirable employers and the sources that candidates use to gain knowledge about them.
Human Capital in Łódzkie Region
"Human Capital in the Łódź Region" is a study into the business potential of Łódź carried out by Antal. The city has recently undergone drastic changes and is now a direct rival to other CEE regions in terms of business and new investments. The study results show that the following industries are thriving in the region: IT, SSC/BPO, R&D and household appliances. Numerous investments, renowned higher education institutions and superb infrastructure are only some of the factors that draw in capital to the region.
The report also explains the interrelations between Łódź and Warsaw, which are sometimes referred to as the duopolis. Convenient road and rail connections facilitate joint business and educational/scientific projects involving the two cities. The report outlines the benefits stemming from the collaboration between Warsaw and Łódź along with predictions for the future growth of the two cities.
