Katarzyna Dębińska-Pietrzyk is a transactional lawyer with over 16 years of experience in managing and supervising real estate projects for Polish and foreign investment funds and institutional clients. She frequently advises on real estate purchase and sale transactions in each market sector. Her specialisation also includes advising on investments in shopping centres, office buildings and other commercial properties, as well as developing investment structures. Katarzyna joined CMS in July 2017. She previously worked for Baker McKenzie, in the M&A practice. She is an advocate and a member of the District Bar Association in Warsaw.
Błażej Zagórski, legal advisor and partner in the CMS Corporate/M&A practice in Warsaw. He has 14 years of experience in advising clients from various sectors, including the industry, energy, FMCG, TMT and medical sector on mergers and acquisitions, private equity/venture capital transactions and restructuring projects. Błażej also has broad experience in advising on corporate governance. As a fluent German speaker, in his partner role he will also be developing services for German-speaking clients interested in acquisitions in Poland and for Polish companies that are planning to expand into the German market. He is recommended by Legal 500 as part of the Commercial/Corporate/M&A practice.

CMS has recently significantly strengthened the Polish partner and counsel team and acquired many experienced lawyers from the market. In the last financial year, the following lawyers joined CMS as partners: Anna Cudna-Wagner (Finance Litigation), Rafał Zwierz (M&A and Capital Markets) and Marcin Bejm (Infrastructure). In turn, the following lawyers were promoted to counsels between May 2017 - May 2018: Ilona Fedurek (Banking and Finance), Agnieszka Skorupińska (Environmental Law) and Katarzyna Dębińska-Pietrzyk (Real Estate).
This year, across the CMS network 47 lawyers were promoted to partners, including four in the CEE (additionally Rodica Manea from Romania, Commercial and Corporate Department, and Libor Prokeš from the Czech Real Estate Practice).
