Klara Banaszewska has many years of experience in creating and implementing communications strategies in various industry sectors. Over the last five years, as Deputy General Manager, Klara has co-managed Grayling’s Polish office, supporting the General Manager in developing business both locally and internationally. Besides being a communications expert, Klara is also a Public Affairs specialist. During the past few years as a Public Affairs Director, Klara build a team of five Public Affairs experts that is now servicing clients from the energy, financial services, industry, retail and technology sectors. Before joining Grayling, Klara worked in Brussels where she was responsible for creating and implementing Public Affairs communications strategies targeting decision makers in the European Union’s institutions.
“Klara’s appointment to the position of General Manager is an ideal fit for our strategy, which is based on even closer cooperation between our offices in Europe, on Public Affairs and, in Poland, on Employer Branding”, said Jan Simunek, CEO of Grayling Continental Europe. “Poland is one of our biggest offices in Central & Eastern Europe, so it is of great strategic importance for us, as it is for so many of our clients. Our success in Poland has been built on delivering the highest standard of services for our clients. This is always our top priority, but it matters even more in CEE than elsewhere, as we are working with more than 70% of our clients in more than one CEE country. The focus on clients will not change and will give us a platform for further growth in Poland. I am very excited about the outlook for Grayling in Poland under Klara’s leadership.”
“Poland is a demanding market. On the one hand, our clients expect the highest international standards; on the other, they are very price sensitive. The competition is also tough, not only because of the other international players, but mainly due to the large number and diverse range of small boutique agencies, some offering highly specialised services. To stay competitive in this environment requires you to have the very best people, and I am proud that Grayling’s Board has given me the opportunity to lead such a fantastic team in Poland”, said Klara Banaszewska.
