Mazars in Poland strengthens its advisory team and appoints new Partner

Audit and advisory firm Mazars strengthens its Financial Advisory Services team in Poland with the appointment of new Partner – Jacek Byrt.

Jacek Byrt has joined Mazars in Poland with over 20 years’ experience in the area of M&A, corporate finance and strategic advisory working in the business consultancy firms and in the corporate and investment banking sector.

Throughout his career, Jacek has advised on more than 100 successful projects for large corporates and SMEs across a variety of sectors including manufacturing, food & agriculture, B2B services (IT, outsourcing), medical services.

Prior to joining Mazars, Jacek Byrt was co-founder and partner of a leading independent advisory firm Azimutus specializing in M&A and strategic advisory where he spent almost 16 years. His professional experience also includes working for McKinsey & Company as well as for Bank Zachodni – WBK (currently Santander Bank Polska) in Warsaw and for Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, Commerzbank and Morgan Stanley in Frankfurt and London.

Jacek Byrt graduated from the London School of Economics (Master of Science) and the Warsaw School of Economics (incl. CEMS Master programme in HEC, Paris), as well as completed an Advanced Management Programme in IESE Business School, Barcelona. He is fluent in English, French and German.

In his new role Jacek will be a member of the senior leadership team in Mazars in Poland and Partner in charge of the Financial Advisory Services (including M&A, financial due dilligence and valuations). He will be working with local and international Mazars consultants to provide the best practical advice and solutions for companies in Poland.
