“Knight Frank’s Land Advisory which I have the pleasure of developing, is now working full speed. Apart from the secured contracts, we have been busy submitting bids for the next ones. Currently a dozen or so bids are in progress. Investors have been looking to buy attractive plots for their commercial projects both in cities and towns. On the other hand more and more landowners decide to engage professional advisors to sell their plots,” said Piotr Litwin, Associate Director at Land Advisory, Knight Frank.
The majority of exclusive agreements secured by Knight Frank’s experts are seller representation agreements. Advisory services include the professional preparation and execution of the sale process ranging from the analysis a given area’s potential and its most effective use, and ending with developing a related marketing strategy.
“The supply of land in the centers of the largest cities is small, that is why developers have been searching for developed plots which they can revitalize or change their function or, in the worst case scenario, tear down the existing infrastructure and build new projects. On the other hand plot owners are now more interested in forming companies with developers than a few years back and believe that such projects have long-term potential and with an experienced partner can reap profits for investors,” Piotr Litwin said.
