Credit Suisse (Poland) sp z o.o. was awarded the title of New-Entrant of the Year
The new Credit Suisse (Poland) sp. z o.o. office in Warsaw wins top prize for the best debut on the market of shared services in Central and Eastern Europe.
Credit Suisse (Poland) sp z o.o. was awarded the title of New-Entrant of the Year at the CEE Shared Services and Outsourcing Awards for its new shared services center in Warsaw. This is the second Polish business center of Credit Suisse, with the first center being opened in 2007 in Wrocław.
The international jury of one of the most important competitions in the shared services industry honored Credit Suisse (Poland) sp z o.o. for its extraordinarily effective and efficient opening of a new office in Warsaw. Implementation of this project lasted only over a dozen months. The criteria that were taken into consideration when choosing the winner – apart from short period of implementation – were also the quality and sophistication of jobs, working conditions and development opportunities offered by the company, as well as the impact of the new investment on the local economy.
“The New-Entrant of the Year title is a very important distinction for us. We decided to open our next office in Warsaw, among others, due to the availability of highly qualified staff in different areas. Therefore, we are extremely pleased that Credit Suisse (Poland) has been recognized by the industry, not only as an effective and significant investor, but also as an attractive employer that offers excellent development opportunities to outstanding professionals” – says Angus Kidd, head of CS Wroclaw and Warsaw.
The Warsaw office, which was opened in September of 2016 is a complementary site to the company’s office in Wroclaw. Credit Suisse business centers operating in Poland deliver support services for international operations of the bank in such areas as investment and private banking, operations and risk management, legal and compliance, infrastructure management and IT infrastructure and technology development, including robotics and Big Data.
“One of our important goals in Poland is to build a knowledge base and to develop innovative solutions. Therefore, we are constantly on the search for high-quality specialists in many areas with an excellent command of foreign languages“ – adds Angus Kidd.
The CEE Shared Services And Outsourcing Awards have been organized for five years by CEE Business Media. The aim of the contest is to recognize the most outstanding companies, projects and managers from the shared services market in Central and Eastern Europe.
