Andrzej Mikosz from Taylor Wessing distinguished in the international IFLR1000 2020 ranking

Andrzej Mikosz who has headed the Corporate/M&A practice in Taylor Wessing Warsaw since April this year, has been recognised as "Highly Regarded" in the international IFLR1000 2020 ranking in the category of Capital Markets: Equity and M&A.

IFLR 1000 is a guide-ranking classification of the best law firms which specialise in financial and corporate law in more than 120 jurisdictions around the world, including Poland, published since 1990. Experts prepare the list of law firms on the basis of their submissions and recommendations of lawyers from the most significant financial institutions and the largest enterprises and law firms.

Andrzej Mikosz is an experienced and highly recognized Attorney at law in the industry, with extensive transactional experience. He was a partner at K&L Gates since 2010 and previously worked for other international law firms, including Hogan & Hartson and Lovells (currently Hogan Lovells).

He also held a number of public positions. He was the Minister of Treasury, member of the Securities and Exchange Commission and advisor to the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on commodity exchanges and warehouses. With the role of his team in regaining control over PZU SA by Polish Treasury / Treasury of the Republic of Poland, he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta in 2015. In his professional practice he deals with mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and corporate law. He is the author of publications on corporate law, capital market problems and the issues of corporate governance.
