Managing risk

The value of a business is more than just a multiple of its sales. It is about how it is managed. The way it complies with regulations, its approach to sustainability, and increasingly, the way it manages risk.

This meeting of the BPCC event tackles several aspects of risk management, from identifying, assessing and mitigating risk, to the transfer of risk in the form of insurance. The processes that a company deploys around risk management can be audited and certified; businesses which can demonstrate best practice in this area become more valuable to their owners.
