The British Polish Chamber of Commerce and AIG invite you to take part in a practical half-day seminar aimed at all companies with an exposure to cyber crime. Keynote speaker:

Mark Camillo
is Head of Professional Indemnity & Cyber, EMEA and is responsible for the PI, A&E, and CyberEdge® suite of end-to-end risk management solutions at AIG. Prior to this role, Mark led the cyber team for the Americas including oversight of the Personal Identity Coverage (PIC) and Payment Fraud Products. Mark joined AIG in 2001 and has held positions of increasing management responsibility in various parts of the organization including eBusiness Risk Solutions, Affinity Group, Accident & Health, Professional Liability, and the Fidelity team. Prior to AIG, Mark worked in sales, marketing, and product development for Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) and SITEL Corporation. Mark has a Masters of Business Administration from SUNY Buffalo and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wyoming.

The meeting will be held in English, participation is free of charge for registered delegates.

Start-ups and their role in urban regeneration

At a joint meeting of the BPCC's Real Estate & Construction and TMT policy groups at Teatr Scena Prezentacje on 28 October 2015, BPCC members had a chance to look into the future of  Warsaw. Capital Park and Cushman & Wakefield hosted the event at the former, 19th Century Norblin factory, located in the centre of Warsaw, which is to become the ArtN project - a revitalised, mixed-use destination, where startups and corporations can cooperate with each other.

Implementation of the EU's General Directive on Data Protection

On 16 November 2017, more than 60 representatives of local businesses gathered at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Wroclaw, to learn about the implementation of the EU's General Directive on Data Protection (GDPR, or RODO in Polish).  The co-organisers of the meeting were the BPCC with members Comparex Polska, BSI Group Polska and law firm Domański Zakrzewski Palinka Sp.
