2020 BPCC HR Review: Report on the Polish labour market
Poland’s economy continues to power ahead, albeit at a slower pace than in 2018.
Growth in 2020 is expected to be around 3.5%, driven by consumer spending, public investment and a strong labour market. With unemployment at a record low (the third-lowest in the EU), many employers are finding it increasingly difficult to recruit and retain staff. But what is the reality on the ground at a detailed level?
A major report, based on responses from HR managers across Poland, showing how employers are coping with demographics, rising wages, high attrition and a shrinking labour pool, will be presented at this event. The report draws on the current experience BPCC members, foreign investors and Polish private-sector businesses and offers practical insights into a dynamic labour market that has undergone rapid transformation since Poland’s accession to the EU.
Aimed at investors, potential investors and firms interesting in doing business with Poland, the event will provide a holistic 360-degree overview of the HR situation in Poland today. Speakers – all experienced HR practitioners from Poland – will look at the ‘soft’' measures and the hard HR tools available to managers. Participants will learn strategies for recruitment and retention based on best practice.
Under the patronage of Ambassador of the Republic of Poland Prof. Arkady Rzegocki.
