1st Polish-British IT Forum

Poland is rapidly growing a global reputation as a great place for doing tech.

Its high schools and technical universities turn out large numbers of hard-working and focused young people with the right skills in maths and problem-solving. Corporations from around the world have set up their IT hubs in Poland which are delivering outstanding results for them. And Poland can boast a great many of its own IT firms, large and medium-sized as well as impressive fast-growing start-ups.

This event serves to highlight the benefits that mutual cooperation can bring in for both British and Polish IT companies. Speakers from UK firms with tech operations in Poland will explain why they chose to set up there, while Polish tech firms will showcase some large projects they have undertaken for UK clients in sectors such as AI, VR, healthcare, smart cities, imaging, games, FinTech and insurance.

As well as giving the tech experts a deep insight into why Poland is such a good place for discovering the new solutions and resolving the old issues, this event will also be an opportunity to meet up between senior people from IT industry of both countries, and to discuss what’s the best way forward – in-house investments, or outsourcing to reputable tech firms with a solid track record.

The event is designed to facilitate contact between British and Polish firms, making it easy to identify firms with the technologies you need to achieve your business goals through better use of tech.

Event coverage

Polish tech firms are ‘quietly efficient’, among the best in the world, but they need a bit more ‘razzamatazz’ to sell themselves globally – that was the verdict of their UK clients.
