Ostrów Tumski – the place we speak of - was once an island connected to the right bank of the Oder by a bridge. This site is today the location of The Bridge Wroclaw MGallery Hotel. Accor flagship object fits into the gothic surroundings of Plac Katedralny area, exposing the beauty of the Cathedral.
The Bridge, also links history with contemporary vibes, industrial design mingles with history. The interiors are decorated with large-format graphics of 19th-century Wrocław, reproductions of collections from private owners and The National Museum. We will see here an imaginary view of the University of Wroclaw, 19th-century view of Ostrów Tumski and a wooden warehouse, the contemporary location of The National Museum.
The rooms host unusual guests - 40 historical figures, including Johan Vogt, reminiscent of actor Robert De Niro, Wroclaw Bishop Andreas Jerin, or heiress of Wilczyce Therese Magdalene Hochberg. The beds are decorated with canopies with wax candles referring to the gothic style, but the hotel also provides high-tech solutions, such as a communication panels in the rooms; the possibility of opening the door to the room with a smartphone; or Dolby Surround system and multimedia in the ballroom (490 m2).
The Bridge Wellness and SPA take the sixth floor of the hotel. We will experience closeness of plants here - vertical gardens and herbal aromatherapy. The unforgettable panorama of Wrocław can be admired from the rooftop terrace, which is also a place for events and star observations.
