UK businesses meet to maximise Polish export offering
BritPol, the UK’s leading information and advice portal for Polish and British businesses, has assembled a panel of Polish market experts to present an overview of market opportunities for UK companies in Europe’s sixth largest market, Poland.
Held in association with the British Polish Chamber of Commerce, the event will cover key aspects of doing business in Poland and highlight how much has changed in the four and a half years since Poland joined the EU.
Explains Emily Moncuit, director and founder of BritPol: “Poland’s economy is set to grow up to four times faster than that of the UK with consumer spending growing 15 per cent year on year.
“The country is proving to be recession-proof and there are literally hundreds and thousands of new opportunities for UK companies that simply weren’t present just a year ago.”
Concludes Emily: “Attendees will have the chance to listen to and talk with experts specialising in a variety of sectors including Poland’s competitive position in Europe, EU grants available to Robin Hood Airport region firms, Polish labour market trends and Polish law in practice and taxation.
“With the credit crunch biting deeper day by day here in the UK, Poland is economically stable so there’s never been a better time for British businesses to maximise the opportunities on the table.”

The country is the 6th largest retail market in Europe with high growth potential. Britpol in co-operation with the BPCC is well placed to enable companies to really accelerate business growth in this high potential market. We are seeing unprecedented levels of interest in Poland’s attractive consumer market at this time,” adds Martin Oxley, BPCC CEO.
The event will take place at Directions Finningley CIC in the National Aviation Academy at Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield on Tuesday 18th November from 2.30pm – 7pm. Places are limited and priced at £15 (+VAT) per delegate. To register, visit www.bpcc.org.pl , email
