Regarding the following sectors, these special trends have been observed:

  • In Accountancy and Finance an increase in salaries and monetary expectations has been noticed, especially in accounting and financials. Large salaries are being offered in internal accounting sectors, rather than external ones. Additional motivation factors are 10-12% bonuses, or yearly or semi yearly bonuses in the sum of a months salary.
  • IT and telecommunication has witnessed a maximum salary increase of about 10-20% compared to the previous year. It is not unusual to receive a 30% greater salary in companies with foreign capitol. Candidates are more willing to sign contracts in relation to their employment. However large corporations do not use o implement such contracts.
  • In Construction and Property the salary increase have reached 35% in the past year alone. The largest salary increases are in General Contractor firms which are competing with Consulting Engineering and Development Companies which tend to attract a great workforce. Salary increases are especially noticed in the region of Silesia as well as southern Silesia and the Baltic region.
  • Workers in the Production sector could have even expected a 50% increase in salaries, mainly if they possessed very specific specializations and unique characteristics. Additional monetary bonuses are entering the production sectors, those that were not seen before.
  • In Sales and Marketing such additives as medical insurance, company phones, gas payments, a company car, or even computers for personal use are playing a greater role when it comes to committing to a job. The most popular benefits are company phones and cars. In international firms the salaries are uniform, and there are no disparities among various regions of a country. The best paid employees also possess very specific specializations.
  • The pharmaceutical sector offers the largest increase in salaries, as well as the greatest increase of job diversity. A staggering 90% of people at the highest positions possess a company car. There are also motivation factors in the form of 10-12% yearly bonuses.
