We offer BPCC members a reduction of £50 on our professional fees for repatriation to Poland.
We help families who are bereaved away from home, offering advice and information at a time when they may be uncertain about procedures. We have recently recruited a Polish speaking person who can assist families locally if they wish to speak to us in their own language.
Our company specialises in international repatriation and know there are many rules and regulations to be adhered to enabling this process to proceed. Some of the requirements are listed below:
· The family/friend in UK must always make sure they have the Passport of the deceased.
· The family or friend if present here in England will also need to register the death at the local register. They may need to communicate with the local Coroner if perhaps the person was involved in an unusual death.
· Rowland Brothers international can make arrangements for the family and friends to view the deceased at our Chapel of Rest. We will also make arrangements for the remaining documents from the Coroner and hospital to be obtained.
· The Polish Consulate needs to seal the coffin and provide the relevant permit allowing the deceased to travel and we will also organise this on behalf of the family.
· The deceased will need to be placed into a zinc lined wooden coffin for international transport. We have a supply of many coffins and these can be viewed on our website for selection purposes.
· The flight is then organised to Poland by our office and the remains is transferred to the Uk airport. Special flat rates are available with many airlines to Poland keeping costs to a minimum for the family.
· On arrival in Poland we have links with a Funeral Home who can arrange to collect the deceased on arrival and can also organise the local funeral if the family so wishes.
