As it has already become a tradition, The International Christmas Mixer in Wroclaw was co-organised by 5 international chambers of commerce: American Chamber of Commerce in Poland, British Polish Chamber of Commerce, French Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Poland, Scaninavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce, and Swisschamber Poland.
The event took place on December 12th in mystique and very original premises of unused municipal brewery Browar Mieszczański. Dim candle lights and glitter of Christmas trees, dark brick interiors , and overwhelming fragrance of fresh spruces created a unique and unforgettable atmosphere.
The first part of the artistic programme was devoted to international traditions. A choir of Japanese and Korean children from the British International School, dressed in their national attires, sung carols from all over the world.
This was followed by a performance of Polisch Christmas carols by Wrocław operetta singers.
The rest of the evening continued alongside modern tones of the jazz band, delicious Polish Christmas cuisine, a selection of swiss wines sponsored by Nobless and Grand Cru, as well as a choice of beer provided by Carlsberg. Those with gambling spirit could try their luck at the American Roulette provided by Casinos Poland. During the whole coctktail the fortune teller was available to reveal what the future held in store for those brave enough to ask.
The highlight of the event was the Grand Prize Lottery Draw with its main prizes of the LCD Phillips televisionset 32” funded by Komsa and two airline tickets to anywhere in the world funded by Austran Airlines.
