With a new pro-business, pro-reform government in place, Poland is set
to become even more attractive for business. It has recently been
ranked by The Economist as one of the world's lowest-risk emerging
markets, much safer in macro-economic terms than the Czech Republic,
Hungary or the Baltics.
Poland will the biggest recipient of EU structural and cohesion funds, with €67 billion earmarked for infrastructure, environment projects, power generation, R&D and innovative enterprises,

The first round of tenders will begin in the first quarter of 2008.
