Pawel Karlowski has been appointed the new BT managing director of the Central and Eastern European |
Paweł will report to Olivier Campenon, vice president of EMEA. BT is a
leading global provider of networked IT services and communication
solutions.
He will be responsible for the four BT offices in the region: Poland,
Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, and for the further development
of the company in CEE. BT works with large corporate clients and
currently employs more than 300 people in the CEE region
‘BT’s operations are growing in the CEE region. We provide
both traditional communications services as well as complex solutions
supporting large companies to improve their operational efficiency. The
positive economic situation in the region opens up new possibilities
for further growth across the whole of the CEE. My task will be to take
these opportunities and leverage them for our customers and for BT as a
whole” said Karlowski.

Paweł has many years of experience in the telecommunication sector.
Previously, he worked for NETIA as a Board Member and Chief Commercial
Officer, and at T-Systems Poland as Managing Director. He began his
career at AT&T Network Systems/Lucent Technologies, where he held
various positions, such as Director of Mobility Segment in CEE and
Sales Director, Pan-European Service Providers.
He is is 43 years old, a graduate of the Technical University of
Szczecin with a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering. Married and
father of two, Paweł spends his free time travelling with his family.
He also is a passionate golf player. |
