Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Kevin Craighead
to become Head of Property Management Central and Eastern Europe and
Associate in a drive to further strengthen the firm’s market-leading
position in the region.
Kevin will act as a catalyst for cross-border property management
service levels in Central and Eastern Europe, working alongside the
firm’s 63-strong Property Management team in the region to help to
identify cross-border opportunities.
A member of the RICS, Kevin has more than 15 years of commercial
property and asset management experience which includes more than 7
years working directly in the CEE markets with emphasis on offices,
shopping centres, and logistics parks. Working for a wide range of
clients including institutional and private equity funds, developers,
and private individuals Kevin has also played a leading role in
coordinating the property management of investment portfolios across
Hungary, Poland, and the Czech Republic.

In addition to contracted PM
work, he also delivered consultancy across all three countries related
to pre-purchase due diligence, lease restructuring, and reviewing
management structures to create greater effectiveness and efficiency in
delivery of services to tenants and clients. Prior to joining Cushman
& Wakefield Kevin has worked as Director of Asset Management in
Pinnacle in Prague, Director of Asset and Facility Management in Knight
Frank, and Associate Partner in Ryden.

Warsaw, says: “Cushman & Wakefield has been managing properties in
Central and Eastern Europe on behalf of clients for more than 10 years.
At the moment there are 49 buildings in Poland, Czech Republic and
Hungary under our management. It gives a total of 767,000 sq m with
1,515 tenants and a rent roll of EUR 86 mln. Our aim is to double the
size of the property management business in the region over the next 3
years. Our clients range from investment funds and developers to
private investors.”
Key management instructions in which Cushman & Wakefield is being
involved this year in the CEE EU-member states include the management
set-up for retail component of ING RE’s 225,000 sq m Złote Tarasy
development in Warsaw, Poland, and the management of EDEN Shopping
Centrum, a 30,000 sq m shopping centre in Prague, Czech Republic.
